Working in Canada: As an international student you are not permitted
to work in Canada except on a cooperative education placement. We suggest
that when planning your finances for studying in Canada, you should not
depend on earning income. We would highly recommend students devote their
maximum time to their studies..
Living Costs: Students must meet the cost of study and living
in Canada. A student will need approximately $10,000 to cover 12 months
living expenses. This amount includes food, accommodation, local transportation,
medical insurance, clothing and sundries. Tuition, books and material,
industry certification exam fees and transportation expenses back to your
country are not included in this amount. Please refer education expenses
details in the Application form. These are minimum estimates only. To
provide you some idea of what you can expect to spend:
Initial one time cost:
Computer Equipment: $500-$2500
Warm Clothing: $200-$500
Furniture: $400-$1500
Health Insurance: $550-$750
Other expenses: $100-$300
